The Worlds of Wonder Mickey Mouse was released in 1986. Mickey was Worlds of Wonder's 3rd tape playing toy. Takes 4 D batteries like all of the other WOW Talkers. His tapes were called "Mickey's Variety Series". In each tape Mickey, Goofy, and sometimes other Mickey characters went to different parts of the world. Mickey's companion talker is goofy. Mickey originally came bundled with the book and tape, "The Impossible Journey". There were 2 releases of the tapes. The original release with hardback books and tapes with labels. The second release came with paperback books and printed labels on the tape itself. There are 3 generations of Mickey. First generation Mickey's have fuzzy feet. Second generation models. which are the most common don't have fuzzy feet, and has a clip on battery cover. Third Generation Mickey's have no fuzzy feet, and have a hinged battery cover.
