Playskool Teddy Ruxpin

He's My Magical bear, My Friend Teddy Ruxpin

Playskool Teddy Ruxpin was released in 1992. In prototypes, you can see that originally, Playskool Teddy was going to have pawpads on his hands and feet. Ultimately they changed his design back to resembling small wow Teddy more. Like every other Teddy Ruxpin, he was bundled with the Airship tape and book. Some tape and book sets came in bundles of 2 in blister card packaging. Instead of taking full size tapes, Playskool Teddy uses mini 8-tracks. The same kind used for small WOW Teddy. Playskool Teddy is notorious for his eyes and mouth to not work. This is caused by the belts Playskool used deteriorating overtime and just overall being bad. Only small WOW and Playskool mini 8-track tapes work in this Teddy. There are also a few variations of Playskool Teddy. One that has a clip on battery compartment, and the other being the more common screw on battery cover.
